The Samsung Galaxy S9's bigger sibling, the Galaxy S9+ has been spotted on the database of Geekbench, confirming some of the previous rumored specs.
The Galaxy S9+ carries the model number G965U1, and as per the benchmarks will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM and ship with Android Oreo.
The device gets a score of 2422 and 8351 in single-core and multi-core test, which is 27 and 31 percent (respectively) higher than Snapdragon 835. This means Snapdragon 845 is going to be a powerful chip for a high-end Android device. However, these scores do not beat iPhone X's Apple A11 Bionic chip. The Galaxy S9+ will also get a variant powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos chip as well.
Previous leaks have suggested that Galaxy S9+ will have 6.2-inch Super AMOLEd Infinity dislay and dual-rear camera. The smaller Galaxy S9 is said to have 5.7-inch display, 4GB RAM and single camera.
According to the latest reports, the Galaxy S9/S9+ will be unveiled at MWC 2018 in February, and hit the stores in March.
