Xiaomi has finally released MIUI 9 stable version for the popular Redmi 4 smartphone. To remind you the phone shipped with Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8, when it was launched in May, and last week received MIUI 9 nightly build

But now it is getting the official MIUI 9 software, which comes as MIUI 9.1.1.0.NAAMIEI, and is based on Android 7.1.2.

The update is rolling out over-the-air and weighs in at 257MB. According to Xiaomi, the MIUI 9 software will make your Redmi 4 phone faster as well as more efficient. It also adds new apps and features like Mi Drop, Mi Video, animated system icone, split screen support, stickers support for gallery along with system optimzations. It also includes October Android security patch.
